Last week, St George’s Labour candidate Alex Smith had the opportunity to speak with Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, Ed Balls.
Amongst other topics, they discussed Islington Labour’s Universal Free School Meals policy for primary school children.
Ed Balls said:
With school meals, the impact and the benefits you can get are really important – whether you’re on a high or a low income as a family. So there’s a real case for universal free school meals.
