Egg

This place is cracking (excuse the pun) their club nights are less conformed to the arty farts that sprinkle Hoxton and are catered for the sincere clubbers. Stuff the conservative look or the Armani-tagged attire as this club is for the extroverts - yep, you know the ones that don’t give a damn! Aha finally a club that keeps it real (as they say on the streets)

If you are out on a bender then Egg is the nutty and fruity resort you need with their sole mission of making you have a time of your life - this place will make you sizzle like a fry up!

My journey to visit Egg’s Hat Club night was fraught with disaster after disaster. Everything was thrown in my way to stop me from reaching my destination including rambling Irishmen, delayed trains and boisterous, cricket playing Englishmen. Finally we reached the safe haven of Egg. I’ve never been so happy to see a North London club in my life. As we made our way into the club the colourful decor lifted all our moods. Giant sunglasses and disco balls hung from every ceiling making Egg look like a cross between a raver’s dream club and a child’s birthday party. Quite a few people displayed silent gestures that they knew the club night in hat form on their heads. We made our way to the dance floor and stayed there as tune after tune kept us captive. As others have pointed out before Egg is not one of those pretentious clubs that you will find in certain pretentious areas of London. Strike up a conversation with any stranger there and you will get a riveting discussion as your reward. Egg is a clubber’s idea of heaven; a place where you can spend all night having fun and, if you have the stamina, spend the morning relaxing at their famous Breakfast set.

The atmosphere of Egg is what people love the most. It's always nice to break away from the monotony of the pretentious club scene and hit up a place where people seem real. Egg proudly insists that the crowd dress in Shoreditch or Camden attire.Perhaps Breakfest at Egg is their most interesting event that stretches from Saturday night into Sunday morning. The best way to describe the staff and atmosphere is to say that it's like a house party.
